Conclusion of a purchase agreement
When you order an item from Noorstad ApS, an order confirmation is sent to you by e-mail. In the case of purchases made at Noorstad Online Shop, an e-mail is sent immediately after completion of the transaction. The information you provide when you submit an order is used in connection with billing, payment and shipping of the product.

Acceptance of electronic communication
When you purchase Noorstad ApS’ products online, you agree that communication with you and information can be sent to you via the e-mail address provided by you. You hereby accept that electronic messages have the same legal effect as those not sent electronically.

All prices at Noorstad Online Shop include VAT.

On noorstad.com payment can be made with Dankort, Visa, Visa Dankort, Visa Electron, MasterCard & American Express. The amount will be debited your account when the goods are shipped.

Bank transfer note!
By bank transfer you are not protected by the objection system.

No fee is charged by payment on noorstad.com.

Noorstad ApS offers free delivery to bridged islands in Denmark (excluding Greenland and the Faeroe Islands) on purchases made online at our online shop. Noorstad ApS chooses the means of transport and route to the delivery address provided by the buyer, and the buyer assumes liability for the product once delivered. All other deliveries are made ex warehouse Copenhagen with a surcharge for delivery. Where the order involves delivery of chairs, tables, sofas and other large or heavy products, the customer will be contacted by telephone in order to agree on the practicalities of delivery (delivery details).

Delivery outside Denmark
For deliveries outside Denmark, the buyer arrange and pays all shipping and freight costs as well as any customs duties and taxes associated with the purchase. Delivery is ex Noorstad ApS’ warehouse or ex the warehouse from which the product purchased has been shipped. The buyer assumes liability for the product upon delivery to the carrier. Noorstad is not liable for any damage sustained during transportation.

Delivery time
The expected delivery time, is up to 1 week from the order date, as long as the item is not a back order and in stock. For all other items, e.g. sofas, the expected delivery time is up to 8 weeks from the order date.

Right of cancellation
You have 14 days right of cancellation, when you shop at noorstad.com. The right of cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you;

– have received your product.
– receive the final product in physical possession, when it is an agreement regarding several different products, which have been ordered in one order, and which are delivered individually.
– receive the last lot or the last part in physical possession, when it is an agreement on delivery of a product, which consists of several lots or parts.

If the 14th day falls on a public holiday, Constitution Day, Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, the deadline for returning the product is pushed to the following working day.

You must within 14 days of the receipt notify us if you regret your purchase. The announcement must be made through sales@noorstad.com. In your message you must make it clear that you want to use your right of cancellation. You can also choose to use our standard cancellation form and return this to us. You can find it included in your order confirmation/product and at the bottom of this document.

You cannot regret just by denying receipt of the product without at the same time making this clear to us.

You must send your order back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to regret your purchase. At returning you are responsible for the product being wrapped securely. You bear the risk of the product from the time of delivery of the product. You must pay the direct cost of returning the product. Noorstad does not cover any costs incurred in connection with the return shipment.

Because of their nature certain products cannot be returned by normal post. This applies to chairs, tables, sofas and other large or heavy products ect.

The cost of returning these products is expected to amount to a maximum of approx. DKK 1.800,00.

Products excluded from the right of cancellation
The following product types are excluded from the right of cancellation:

Delivery of products manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or products which have been made clearly personalized. It should be pointed out that if Noorstad ApS sells products customised to individual customer requirements, these products is excluded from the right of cancellation.

The condition of the product when you return it
You are only responsible for any deterioration in the product value, which is due to other handling than what is necessary to determine the product’s nature, characteristics, and the way it works. In other words – you can test the product in the same way as if you tested it in a physical store.

If the product has been tested in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that you when regretting the purchase only get part or none of the purchase price returned, depending on the commercial value of the product.

To receive the full purchase price you must therefore do the same, as you will do in a physical store. You can test the product but you cannot start using the product.

Repayment of the purchase price
If you regret your purchase, you will of course receive the amount you have paid to us. In the event of a decrease in value for which you are responsible, this is deducted from the purchase price.

If you are using your right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (not, however, additional costs incurred as a result of your own choice of a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery which we offer), without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to cancel this agreement. We implement such a repayment with the same means of payment, which you used for the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed to something else.

We can withhold repayment, until we have received the products back, unless you before then have provided documentation of having returned the products.

You must include a copy of the order confirmation. The expedition will happen faster if you also fill out our form/standard cancellation form.

Note: We do not receive packets sent cash on delivery.

Force majeure
All orders are accepted subject to force majeure, including war, civil unrest, natural disasters, strikes and lock-outs, shortage of raw materials, fire, damage to Noorstad ApS’ or Noorstad ApS’ suppliers’ production equipment or storage facilities, transportation issues, import/export prohibition or any other event which prevents or restricts the ability of Noorstad ApS or its suppliers to deliver. In case of force majeure, Noorstad ApS can opt to cancel the order or to deliver the agreed items as soon as the hindrance to normal delivery has lapsed. In case of force majeure, Noorstad ApS accepts no liability for any loss suffered by the buyer as a result of non-delivery.

The Danish Sale of Goods Act’s regulations regarding defects can apply to purchase of goods. When you shop at noorstad.com you have of course 24-month warranty. This means that you can get either the product repaired, exchanged, receive your money back, or have a reduction of the price, depending on the specific situation.

It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified, and that the defect is not due to an incorrect use of the product or other tortious behaviour. Wear is not covered by this warranty, neither is damage caused by the customer, surface treatment and the like. Improper uses of the product, misuse or vandalism are not covered by the warranty.

You must complain within “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect of the product. If you complain within two months after the defect has been found, the complaint will always be timely. Any complaints regarding defects and deficiencies in the product must be sent in writing to Noorstad ApS.

If the complaint is justified, we will of course refund your (reasonable) freight costs. Remember that the product always has to be sent back in the proper packaging, and make sure you get a receipt of dispatch, so that we can refund your freight costs.

Product liability
To the extent otherwise provided by mandatory legislation, Noorstad ApS is not liable for operating loss, loss of profits or other indirect losses caused by product defects. Please also refer to the rules of the Danish Product Liability Act (Produktansvarsloven).

Personal data policy
In order for you to enter into an agreement with us on noorstad.com, we need the following information; Name, Address, Telephone number, e-mail address.

We carry out registration of your personal data with the purpose to be able to delivery the product to you.

The data is registered at Noorstad ApS and will be kept for a period of five years, after which the information will be deleted.

The data controller on noorstad.com is Noorstad ApS.

As registered with Noorstad ApS you have always right to object to the registration. You will also have the right to have access to the information that has been registered on you. You have these rights pursuant to the act on processing of personal data. Inquiries in this connection must be addressed to Noorstad ApS via e-mail sales@noorstad.com.

Complaint procedure
If you want to complain about your purchase, please contact sales@noorstad. If we, contrary to expectations, cannot find a solution, you can file a complaint with the Center for Klageløsning:

Noorstad ApS accepts no liability for different colour rendering on photographs of products, etc. All measurements stated are approximate.
